Mossberg 590 front sight

Hello All,

I was at the range this weekend shooting the 590 and I have come to the conclusion that I would like a sight with a dot in the front. I do not really require a high vis dot, but I would not discount that idea. Does anyone know of any companies that make a front sight blade like this?

I should have explained myself better; I have a 590 with the ghost ring sights. I want to find a replacement front blade with some sort of high vis dot in it.

Can't you remove the orange strip on the Mossberg and paint on a dot?
Maybe you could grind a small recess with a dremel and put the paint in the hole.

I'm going to go into one of the local gun shops tomorrow and see what they might have.

I'll let you know if I come up with anything

The front site does have a removable blade (dovetailed in) so it shouldn't be too hard to find

Well they didn't have anything in stock...but they did inform me that the Truglo with the 3/8 dovetail will fit

Now I just have to find one

I just got back from Gunco, and I had Jason put on a brass beaded rifle sight that he had in stock. I will give this a try and see how it works; I think it will be fine.
