This looks awesome, but I didn't think it was legal to put a shotgun stock on a Shockwave. Does replacing the Raptor Grip with a stock turn it into a short barrel shotgun? Maybe that is just an American thing.

That's juat an American thing.
All that matters in Canada is the total is the total combined overall Length

Yes only under US law does a stock on a shockwave affect its classification
In Canada pump guns just have to be over 26” stocked or with pistol grip
