Mossberg 590 Special Purpose = 590A1?

I don't see anything about the A1 any more but I see pics of an identical-looking shottie called the "590 Special Purpose" and was curious if this was the same one as the sought-after A1?

I believe the A1 includes a "beefier" barrel and a steel trigger group.

590 A1's (metal trigger, safety, heavy barrel) have Mossberg numbers beginning with 51###. All other 590's start with 50###.
