I have been waiting for a month and a half at Irunguns to ship me this super cool shotgun with a Mesa Tactical stock adapter set that fits any AR15 stock/grips. I install it, what do I notice? I can't aim down the sight, stock is waayy too high :(
I researched all the options I can imagine right now.. :

-Red dot and a rail (I prefer a bead sight over anything else, no batteries, better field of view, no expense.
-installing a ghost ring sight from Mossberg (I wouldn't be able to take off the heat shield + I need a gunsmith to weld it or do a clean job I couldn't do)
-Finding a better stock/grip kit that would be lower. (I looked online for a few hours and couldn't find any...)

I really like the pistol grip/AR15 stock, I don't want a standard stock..

I found this picture on Google, it seems it would be perfect, but what is it?!??! Does anyone know? It's exactly what I would want, but lower. And considering it's a LEO it's probably quality.. Any help would be appreciated!!

I think the one in that picture is the Mossberg FLEX stock adapter, which won't work on a regular 500/590. The LEO adapter is a little high for a bead sight, depending on your cheek height of course.

Something like the FAB Defense grip adapter should be a pretty much drop in replacement for the LEO adapter you have, you can probably sell the LEO and the Hogue grip and be a few bucks ahead. All the other items FAB makes for the 500 say they fit the 590, but it doesn't say so with this grip; So the FAB grip may require a bit of fitting to go onto a 590, although it may just be a drop in fit. I think it's the 590a1 that has the thicker receiver.

There used to be a few on the market with some drop, ATI and ERGO-Grip may still make them but I don't know how much drop there is in the stock. I also like the Hogue shorty grips if you don't mind a strait stock. They're a lot shorter than the factory stocks and have a nice rubber texture to them.

Yep, that should work as well! Just buy a flex stock of your choice as well.

Fyi that company tried to advertise here without paying for a business membership so they got banned. I would take the link down too as it's verboten to even mention them!

Cadex makes the best AR tube shotgun stock IMO, although they're not cheap.

That piece is a factory adapter and it's a plastic POS. I bought that model years back and when I changed the grip the screw stripped the threading on the adapter.

After that I went to a Mesa adapter.

The comb is higher with the Mesa adapter than a regular stock, but a tight cheek weld and ghost ring sights helps mitigate.

There’s nothing ####ty about the Mesa product, you just didn’t do your reasearch before you bought it. A ton of people here have them, all you had to do was ask how high they sit and you would’ve saved yourself some grief. Be glad you didn’t buy the high rail stock kit.

It’s a tactical stock set, which unlike a traditional field stock is usually meant to be used with something other than a bead sight. Sorry to be the I told you so guy but that’s the reality of that style of stock, ghostrings will likely be the lowest sights you can run with that set up. I have the LEO on an 870 clone and it’s the same but I knew this prior to buying.

If someone in the future is browsing Canadiangunnutz with this same issue, here is what I did to solve my problem. They sell a spacer for the Mossberg 500 series that fits on the A1 and 590 aswell.
Here is what I bought : https://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Tec...0030C62WK/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

You can make a search on google by simply typing stock drop spacer mossberg 500 or something and you should find many retailers selling them.
The reviews on Amazon say it works perfectly with all kinds of stocks and that it will drop the stock of your Mossberg 500/590 at an angle that lets you see the bead sight naturally.
