In a nut shell, I picked up a new (from the store) Mossberg 590 Mariner. I used it once and the entire trigger assembly broke. The store where it was supposed to be fixed have had it since mid January. Granted there was a lenghty delay in getting parts. So the part arrives in early March and what do you know, the trigger assembly is missing the trigger. I am now almost 3 months without this shotgun and the wife is all over me as she uses it as I prefer the Winchester 1300 Defender. My question is what is a Mosberg 590 Mariner that has a broken trigger assembly worth ? Fired like 20 shells before the trigger assembly went bye bye ? For reference 20 inch barrel with optional telescoping pistol grip and includes a pistol grip too. Thanks. I am not selling it as yet, just checking my options.

Depending on how long you took to shoot it after you bought it and the dealer involved, I am surprised you did not ask for/were offered a replacement... I'd be uber-pissed if a BRAND NEW shotgun broke in such a serious manner as you describe and the dealer did not try to make it right in a timely manner...

Hmm I picked up the telescoping pistol grip from Advanced Technology Co. I took it out about 3 weeks after it was shipped to me... Yep and you are right, I am extremely choked at this situation.

I would suggest you talk to the store that is working on it . Ask them if three months is really reasonable and that you would like a new one. If they are not agreeable try calling OR EMAILING MOSSBERG and explain your concerns about their product and the followup service. If after you have tried the store and company and are still unhappy with the service, you can tell them that word of mouth is very bad publicity and you associate with a lot of mouths.
