Mossberg 590A1 on the way!

As the title says, I just ordered (monday) a 590A1 flex #52174.

It's nickel finished and sports a AR style collapsible stock.

I could wanna buy a ''flex'' pistol grip for it and who knows what else!

What's the best place where I can get what I want? (in Canada)

Check the grip's connector ( I don't know what to call it as it is the part you insert the grip into the lower and tighten the screw) width before buying a grip. I found and bought a Mossberg Flex pistol stock kit in CT and upgraded my non-Flex Mav88 (having gone through all the trouble importing a Flex adaptor since I couldn't find one in Canada). I could replace the buttstock with a Magpul no problem but couldn't replace the grip since the connector width is different. You can mod it to fit but I was too lazy so I ended up buying a tight Hogue sleeve to put on the default grip.

Check out the installation video and see if it's something you feel up to tackling first though.
It's a bit of a finicky job.

Thanks! ;) I can easily full strip a Ruger MkIII 22/45 apart (all roll pins, springs, sear etc) and put it back together no problem. I think I am up for the challenge. Btw, what size is the one in your pic?

As for the original topic, OP are you planning to install red dot? If so you might wanna look at a saddle mount if the 590 is not tapped and drilled (may be for the 590 they are but my Mav88 is not)? I added front sight so I thought I could remove the red dot. Now I found that I have to lean on the stock so much while shooting 00 buck it is smashing my cheek. I am planning to add a red dot back so I don't have to press too hard on the stock.

Just received my shotgun.
Had to ship it back the same day. Very disappointed: The receiver looked like it was corroded before plating was applied...No way I'm keeping a gun like that.
I can't see how such a messy receiver passed quality inspection...
The retailer will ship another one.
