Mossberg 590A1 SPX Sling and flashlight recommendations

Hello gun nutz,

What are you running for a flashlight on you 590A1? i have a fenix TK11 on my AR and like it is there any mounting options or one that you recommend as a better light/mount? I am not looking to change out the foregrip or lose the option of mounting the bayonet.

Which sling do you use and how does it mount? so far my 590a1 spx only has a mesa tactical sureshell 6 round carrier and i am looking to do some more upgrading!

On my a1 SPX, I'm not running a light but I'm using a GGG front sling plate(wolverine), a BFG VCAS sling with E-release(one shot) and a BFG buttstock adapter (one shot). I'm still working on a better way to mount the sling on the rear. I'm looking at going to a seamstress and have them sow on a burnsed socket or some kind of bracket to have a more secure mount. Also, if you use the same sling plate, make sure the sling can't slide in front of the muzzle, would hate to shoot this sling. I'm sure others will agree, probably one of the best if not THE best sling available to us right now.

If I was going to put a light on it, I'd probably do another TK-15 in whatever rail mount adapter, on a standard mossberg forend with the picatinny rail on one side(not that lame ass tri rail thing). I'd avoid the barrel clamp style, because when you rack the slide, you lose control of the light, and having those pressure switch cords is just another thing to get hung up.
