Mossberg 702 Plinkster Sight Adjustment

Hello all,

I bought a Mossberg 702 Plinkster to substitute for my 715T for my daughter to shoot. Love having the 25 round magazine!

My question is about the sights. I have adjusted the rear sight to its lowest possible setting and am shooting a good 2 to 3 inches below the bullseye. I would think raising the rear sight would push me lower on the target.

Can the front sight be raised? This model has the fibre optic style front sight.

Back sight up, point of bullet impact goes up.
You went the wrong way.

As said above, move the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to go.

Thanx guys,

I thought I had tried this and the impacts seemed lower.

Must be me... I will try from scratch again.
