If they are designed or manufactured only for use in a rifle, I believe yes, and they'd have an unregulated capacity.

Yep, just like BC mags!! Silly Canadian laws. That's why I'm fighting them!

Rimfire rifles have no limit to magazine capacity. Anything you hear about a limitation to a Rimfire magazine, is likely because a pistol variant of that rifle exist. And even then, it becomes a packaging and labelling issue (ruger bx25)
