Hey guys just went to MoreGuns today and bought my self a Mossberg 715T Flattop. I have to say it was worth it. i haven't went out shooting with it yet but id like to see what other people have to say about the gun. I know its in Polymer but hey, basically no recoil and accuracy is "off the top" as ive read other posts.

lemme know what accessories i could put on it to have stability and more precise shooting.

Also i've seen online that if you put some hockey tape around the mag, itll stop the "wobbling" problem?

Thanks,

Gimme some insight.

exited to go out to the range!

I own both the flat top and carry handle model. Don't ever shoot them but that's cause I have to many guns. Any ways do a search with the search function. Lots of threads about it. Congrats

I added a scope, a folding tactical handle, a folding rail mounted bipod and a 2 point sling. By the way, I purchased mine at the same place. The guys I dealt with were very friendly and liked to talk. I will be going back ther for my shotgun next.

what folding handle works on the 715t? and yeah very friendly which bullets work best with the 715T? had any jams or anything else go wrong? and the mags are on backorder, they ordered 50 i think of what they told me. thanks again

Test different ammo, 22s are picky.
If you buy thin foam thats sticky on the back ( walmart)
Stick it on the top part of the mag, the fit/wobble is taken out. I also found it fed better!

I added a folding foregrip (NcStar), bipod (also NcStar) and a red dot sight. The ammo I use with no issues are CCI AR tactical and Winchester M-22. The Winchester is $52.95 for 1000 rounds (at CTC) and the CCI tactical I bought was $32.95 for 375 rounds. Anyways, they load fine into a mag and haven;t has a misfire yet.

I've sold both my 715ts. If you go to walmart and do the walk of shame in the art/fabric section, there is thin felt that is sticky on one side. Simply cut to shape and install.

mine love cci ammo. laser, red dot...camo...side mounted quick detach light, fake silencer, single point sling.

ive also heard that the CCI is the best ammo for it, as far from ejecting , i havent tried it yet, im hoping that cleaning everything will be the obvious problem with most people having the 715T. i kinda which they had the stock in metal....

I've used rem thunderbolt and Winchester super x in mine.About 400 rnds of both and have maybe 3 fte and 3ftf.If I had to choose one it would be Winchester super x.And my mag doesn't wobble like some people are saying.anyway after tomorrow the 25 mags are illegal in canada so u won't have to worry about those probs any more.Oh you should use the mag loader but you have to use it the right way.push it all the way down insert cartridge halfway ,release a little pressure off the loader, just enough so the cartridge slides under it and so on.If cartridges are not lined up perfectly you will have troubles.
