Hey Folks!

I am having an issue with the magazine release on my new Mossberg 715T. Now before we get into the you should not have bought a plastic rifle debate (it was to help get my kids shooting!!) it actually is quite fun to shoot!

My issue is that it seems that the screw that holds both sides of the magazine release seems to have come loose (perhaps stripped one side of the ambidextrous switch). My question is, is it worth trying some crazy glue to hold the release together or do I order a new release?

Anyone else had the same issue?

Thanx!

John

Ive owned both versions of the 715t. Both had tight mag releases. They didnt move hardly at all. What ever you go with. Youll know to be gentle.
Id buy a new one but thays just my 2 cents.
Hope you get it fixed and keep outshooting those 10/22s!

I've never taken mine out. Is the screw flat or pointed at the end)? If it's pointed you could fill the stripped hole (epoxy?) and the screw will cut new threads.

I know my mag release doesn't really move. Takes some getting used to, and is a PITA with gloves on.
