This is my first post on here, so I'll be brief.
I'm considering one of the Mossberg 802 bolt guns with the pistol grip/thumb hole stock. The reason I'm interested is I picked up a used 702 semi-auto that is an absolute tack driver. Shoots way better than my 10/22. On the other hand, I just got rid of a Mossberg 817 17 HMR which was, to be kind, not the best.
Did I just get lucky with the 702?
