Hi I recently bought a brand new mossberg 835 waterfowler that takes up to 3.5 inch loads and right from the day I bought it is has been jamming and also flicking live shells out the bottom while I am cycling the pump. I shot some 2 3/4 inch shells the other day and when I pumped it after firing it the the gun crushed the shell that was comin up next. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this kinda problem and if there is a fix for it?

I had a never used ten year old 835 Ultimag given to me that was chronic at having shells stick in the chamber after shooting. Clean, dirty, cheap shells, expensive ones, low/high brass didn't matter. Nothing that 280$ of repairs to a 400$ gun didn't solve. I don't see much happiness in your future.....

K thanks guys. Yeah me and my friend bought the same guns the same day and we both have had nothing but trouble since the day we bought them new. Oh well I buy guns all the time but there will never be another mossberg coming into my collection lol

I had the losing live shells out the magazine problem. Took it to a warranty center smith here in ON. He replaced the shell interrupt and another part. They have a great warranty that you should take advantage of. These are great shotguns and it would be a shame to give up on it because you got a defective one. It is frustrating, but once it is serviced you are unlikely to ever have another problem with it.
