Mossberg 88 vs 500 Series Synthetic Stock

Anyone know if there is a difference in quality between the synthetic stocks used oMaverick 88 vs the 500 series shotguns?

no diff on the stock
the 500 foregrip is different though, can be easily changed whereas the 88 foregrip is pinned

The synthetic 500 is also pinned forend. I haven't noticed a difference in the two stocks. However my 535 has a camo stock whereas my 88 is black. If there is a difference it can't be large
