Mossberg 930 choke tube recommendations

Recently got more into goose and duck hunting. I have never bought any aftermarket chokes for any of my shotguns. Havent needed to. Noticing last few geese hunts ive had birds get hit woth a few beads and fly away no problem. Need to try to get time to pattern different shells again i think but would there be a choke that would help with the patterns? Usually taking shots on the longer range side of things. Mostly wondering if the $100+ chokes are worth it

Hard to know exactly what the problem was - poor pattern or weak pellet energy.

Pattern your ammo and chokes as you have them now. That answers part one.

Second is what ammo & shot size are you using, and what distance are you hitting birds. If the pellets aren't penetrating feathers, tightening the choke won't help.
