Hi all, I have been seriously considering a 930 with the 3 barrel combo. I have been looking for reviews online, but there doesnt seem to be a lot of information on this gun, especially specifically hunting applications as opposed to clays or home defense. Any feedback is appreciated

Its and excellent gun. Works really well and its super easy to clean. Also has a lot of aftermarket support if you like tinkering and modifying things....not that its needed though. The three barrel combo is awesome value and will pretty much cover all your hunting situations.
 
Apparently the 930 gas system requires cleaning sooner. This was one design change in the newer 940 system. Perhaps wait for the field and waterfowl models of the 940 to come out in 2021?
 
I've only used one a few times, so i can't comment on how many rounds before it needs to be cleaned, but it cycled both 3" steel and 2-3/4" target ammo just fine, didn't have any issues besides missing what i am shooting at, but the fault there is me, not the gun.

I've only ever used the 28" barrel with it. I know other brands the shorter barrels don't work as well with the lower power target ammo, but i don't know if the 930's have any issues with this.
 
I've used a 930 Field for about 6 years now, lots of time on the clays course and in the marsh. Great gun, simple. I use a synthetic CLP on the gas system and it makes cleaning a breeze. I think the longest I went was maybe 15 boxes before cleaning but it still worked perfectly. Both daughters now have 930s as well. :)

It seems one issue that some guns have is a failure to feed 100% of the time. It seems there is an easy fix for it on the net, for those guns where it happens. Hasn't happened to me.
 
Congrats! The camo print on the new 930/935 are much nicer then the originals like mine. I think you made a wise choice. There arent many hunting situations that you'll encounter where you can't use your new gun!

The reason you don't have lots of info on it, it's because it's a model that was just released to our Canadian distributor.

It's a 930 shotgun with 3 different barrels
Based on the Mossberg 903 # 85212
28" waterfowl
24" turkey with choke
24" Cantilever rifled barrel for deer.

Camo on it is Mossy Oak Shadow grass blades
