Mossberg 930 Safety Malfunction

Its a new gun, just took her out to try it today. Shot 250 rounds of 00 buck and slugs with no issues, then towards the end I noticed it wouldnt fire. It would fire one round then the second press of the trigger was nothing as the trigger would not go back as if it was on safe. It seemed the safety was causing an issue. The safety showed it was off but it still acted as if it was on, I would move it back and forth then try firing again and the gun would fire.

Whats the fix for this? Jumbo safety from S&J hardware?

Take the stock off and check the two screws that hold the safety to the receiver,mine had the same problem but after thousands of rounds.The screws backed out sheering one off that I had to drill and extract, the safety mechanism is little more than a nylon block holding a metal plunger that pushes against the trigger. When the block is loose the switch will jump past and hold the plunger in place,hope this helps.
