Hey Guys,

Hope I posted this in the right section and with the corrct posting format.

I'm brand new to these forums. Got a lot of use out of the links that everyone has posted so far.

I tried using the the search function to see if there were any other topics started on the mossberg 930 SPX, but I only found info on the 930 sporting models.

My question is: Does anyone know of a Canadian retailer that sells this shotty or will be selling them in the near future?

I read an excellant review of them in the Feb. issue of Guns and Weapons for LE. and they seem like a moderately priced alternative to the the Benelli M4 and the Remington 1100. I'd like to get one for as soon as the range is dried up in the spring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
your out of luck with the SPX, mossberg does not sell it in cnd it has a mag ext. that puts it over 5 rnds for a semi. the only "tactical" available is the home defense model, no mag ext. and a bead sight , not as interesting for me at least,i'll wait a bit and pick up a benelli m4
 
MilArm in Edmonton ended up with a few kind of by mistake. They caught the magazine extender issue and corrected in time to keep them in Canada (extender was removed). I've wanted one since I first saw them on the Mossberg site. It was nice to stumble upon them today and buy one....Zombies beware!

Took it apart tonight for a look-see and to get it ready for the range. It looks good....interesting gas system compared to my 391 clays gun.
