Mossberg 930 tactical only taking 2 shells.

Hi all,

Picked up a mossberg 930 tactical yesterday, my first auto loader.

It only only loads 2 shells into the mag tube! i have heard of the mag being blocked for hunting purposes but on some guns, my brothers 11-87 sportsman for example, but not on a piece like this...

Anyone know how i unblock the mag tube?! the end of the tube has some kind of funky retractable arms that stick out that appear to be involved in keeping the mag tube cap on. I dont want to mess with a gun I am not that familiar with until someone lays some advice on me!

There is a piece of dowel in there. It should say right in your manual that came with it. I don't remember exactly how to remove it, but I am sure you can find it on you tube or even on here. (That way you can see it)

Tip upside down with mag cap off of course.
Shake it alot.
Wooden dowl piece should fall right out.
Done

That is how it was on my 930 however mine is not the tactical so I am unsure if it different. Hope this helps.

I forgot about that. I just ripped it out.

The dowel just fell out. That piece was a pain to get out.

I never had a dowel in my 930 tactical, unless the store took it out before shipping it to me.
