Mossberg 930 Tactical

i have the 930 tactical, it is awesome, bought it from Milarm for $565. I like it better than my 590a1. Cycles everything i've thrown at it, glad it does the target loads as this is what i punch paper with.. Just bought a pistol grip for it and threw on a SPARC, it's my favorite shotgun.

I can see why they call it "No-Sale Sports" because Wholesale's website lied to me and I had to cancel the order. Screw you WSS. Off to look for another one from one of our trusted dealers.
 
silveragent i got mine at wanstalls quite some time ago and they still have a couple 930's left. i just got off the phone with them to confirm. there just in maple ridge so a quick trip for you. ask for craig. they only have the field/security combos left(in black) but imo the better deal. having the extra 28" barrel is great for busting clays.
 
I'm not particularly a shotgun fan but after seeing Cyanide Ride's 930 and his performance with it in 3Gun I may get one too!
 
i have to admit the Roadblocker muzzle brake on the 500 series looks totally ridiculous. I'm not sure if I'd want that. If it was smaller maybe because it seems from the reviews that it does work.

i went back and forth on that myself before i bought the field/security 930. but in the end not having a heatshield or a breacher that will never be used lost out to the fact that you get both the 18.5" and the 28" for $30 more. Try buying a barrel for $30 after the fact.

where did you buy it from?
god knows i dont need another shotgun, but im tempted to mess around with another semi.

although my other semi is a Baikal MP153 so itll have stiff competition in that dept: the MP153 is like the AK47 of the shotgun world :)

does anyone have any photos of the 930 action with the forend removed? very curious as to the piston design - more specifically what action they copied. also whats the break-in period on these before they start to cycle light loads? i had to put nearly 100 shells through my MP153 before it ran on light loads.
