Hello everyone,

I was looking to buy a Mossberg 935 semi auto, waterfowl. Is there different model or version of the Mossberg 935?

A gun shop sell a Mossberg 935 for 649,99$ and another one sell it for 949,99$. The first gun shop tell me it's an old version but they can't tell me what is the difference with the "newer" version. Can you guys tell me if there is any difference that worth the 300$?

Thanks!

Hello

Yes there is 2 different model even though they look alike
# 82042 in Shadowgrass is the 935 Magnum Pro-Series Waterfowl which would be the most expensive one
Reason being; Premium finishes of Boron-Nitride coated parts (gas piston, piston rings, magazine tube, hammer, sear, return spring plunger and return spring tube, help prevent corrosion and facilitate cleaning). You also get a finishing to reduce friction on the elevator, shell stop and bolt slide. This shotgun is made to perform under the very bad conditions that a hardcore duck hunter will take it.

# 81023 in Shadowgrass is the Magnum Waterfowl which is not coated with Boron-Nitride this is why the price difference.

Thanks

They are both great shotguns
