Hey all.
I have a mossberg ATR 100, it's a neat rifle, cheap, good, accurate.
the extractor broke on a range trip a long time ago, and I never got around to replacing it as I haven't been shooting much lately.

I was wondering whether the extractor is a common type (Mauser action?) and whether it can be easily replaced, or whether I have to go right to the source and get an actual Mossberg ATR 100 extractor.

The spring and bolt head are fine, all I need is the extractor itself.

Thanks for any help!

How old is the rifle? I broke mine, took it back to the dealer, he sent it for warranty repair, had it back 3 weeks later. Depending on when you bought it, Mossberg had weak extractors. They will replace for free if you let them know the ser no and it is part of that batch.
NEVER WAIT to fix a broken rifle.

Health stuff came up and it was fairly low priority..
I would have had to take it back to epps where I got it and just couldn't get it to happen.
I threw mossberg a friendly email with my shipping info..we'll see what they can do for me.
thanks!
