Mossberg barrels for the Remington 870

Does anyone own onr of these Mossberg barrels that are made for the Remington 870. I ordered one from Wholesale Sports in Calgary. Price was right, $119 for a new 18.5 inch cyl bore bead site(home improvement)barrel. It will handle 3inch shells.
I was wondering what the fit and finish was like. Im puting it on a 870 special purpose action.

A friend of mine got one for his 870, fit and finish look good. Shoots Winchester Gold Partitions well for him. He hunts a lot of fields 100 + yards no problem. Mind you he does a lot of shooting as well.

His is a fully rifled barrel. I am sure the fit and finish will be the same.

I own one and it works fine. Matte black finish mates well with my Express model 870.

yep they are good, black oxy or beadblasted blueing liek the rem 870 express.

Do they carry only the 18.5, or do they carry any other lengths?

They carry a few other lengths. I think even a fully rifled deer barrel
