Mossberg c-lect a choke

You don't mention which model you have but the C-lect chokes are the same. I assume one or the other threaded piece is cross threaded. Can't load images!!

No can’t load images. It’s a 183ka it’s in the part attached to the barrel not the outer sleeve. Didn’t notice till I cleaned out the decades of powder/lead/plastic fouling.

What do you want to know?
Does this help?

I could go look, it's right up front of the cabinet.

I’m needing to know how the inner sleeve with the fingers is attached. I’d like to see if it’s possible to correct it now that it’s clean I may go shoot it again to see if it’s still shredding wads or not.

I believe it is screwed onto the barrel which is held in place by the front sight onto of the choke index plate.

I'm not going to remove mine, I tried but looks like it might take some heat to loosen the locktite... not willing to go that far today.

Edit: This guy states it is permanently mounted @ 2:10 so maybe it can't be removed.
