Mossberg chokes

So my friend damaged the barrel on his mossberg 500 he had it cute own to 18.5 inches now wants to get it threaded for choke tubes. Iam wondering what to have it threaded for he has a newer maveric 88 that takes chokes and would like it threaded to use same chokes any advice

Mossberg and Winchester chokes are the same design, fyi.
