I have a Mossberg mode 142K with a badly damaged/wrecked bolt and a Cooey model 60 also with a badly damaged/wrecked bolt. I'd like to see these working again as they are in excellent shape but I have no use for large wooden sticks.
Are you asking where to find bolts? You can try Western Gun Parts but they will only sell bolts to a qualified gunsmith as the head space may need to be adjusted. You could list on this forum under parts wanted. There were a couple of guys listing Cooey parts on Alberta Outdoordmen. One is Griz 358 who is a member here. For the Mossberg you could go state side and try Numrich or Havlins. Trouble is, they won't sell gun parts to a Canadian any longer. You would have to get someone in the US to get it for you. Or you could look for complete parts guns. The Cooey bolt should be not much of a problem. The 142K might be a little tough. You could become a member of rimfire central and post on the Mossberg forum there. I have been helped out quite a bit by the members on there for my Mossbergs.
If you are selling them then don't bother looking. Price them accordingly with the bolts missing. I am sure for the 142K if you find a bolt it will probably cost you $50.00-$75.00 which is getting to half the price of the gun.
