Mossberg flat top

Does anybody know if you are able to order just the flat top kit? I already have the carry handle version and that's the one thing I don't like about it. Seeing how it's the same internals I dont see why you can't but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Not aware of any kits available or if any will be coming.

Pretty sure the handle is molded to the body as a whole.

All there is, is to chop off the carry handle like some forum members have done and slap on a rail yourself. Of course it won't be as pretty.

Unfortunately I can't see myself cutting it so I guess I'm going to have to sell this one and buy the flat top. I find it a little stupid they dont give people who bought the original one an option to switch to the new kit.

you can get the flat top version at cabelas.ca...mine cost 370$ to the door

have you tried contacting mossberg to see if you can purchase just the shell by itself?

Yep just go to the traders. I have my carry handle listed for $200. I cut the handle off, installed a 6" rail and cut the front sight off. IMO looks way better. I ordered the flat top version 5 months before I cut my handle off. The flat top from Cabalas took over 6 months to recive.

I'm wanting mossberg flat top plastics aswell. I've sent mossberg an email regarding this. Still no reply. I want just the front barrel cover section as I love the carry handle look. I really hope spare plastics become available.

Yea I ended up calling them because they were not replying to my email. Im holding on to the hope that the guy I talked to was wrong lol

I took the last flat top out of Cabelas Saskatoon on Tuesday. They had a handrail version on the shelf but no one seemed interested. Another customer asked if and when they were getting more ft's, the clerk had the standard blank "i dunno" look....

Spent $90 on the hand grip and a UTG red/green dot sight. What a difference it made to the gun!!!!
