mossberg/lakefield 400g

need info on the mossberg 400g pump. i have heard that they are interchangeable parts wise with a 500a any one know if this is true cuz the buttstock is really loose and i want to chage it out

Same gun the 400g was marketed to canada. I have both 500 and 400 same parts for all

Some of the early 400's had a single action arm and the 500 has a double action arm that is really the only difference
