Mossberg Mariner 12 gauge

Are these any good? It seems like a decent price.
I'm considering selling my 870 Express, it's the 26" barrel, and I find it awkward, the Mossberg has the 18 1/2", I mostly just use it for trap shooting.

Are they made in USA? It's pretty important to me if it is.

The Mossberg Marine 590 is extremely durable, a twenty year old one that I know of looks a new as the day it was bought - get one.

I love mine. No idea where it was made though.

I am not sure it is the best gun for trap shooting although you could always get a longer barrel which is easy to swap on.

Actually, looking at the remington version, there's a few things I like about it better.. One being I already know how to take the remington apart.

I couldn't find the 590 in 20" barrel with Ghosts, so I had Casey at TacOrd take care of it for me. Amazing work.

I have the 590 w/ combat sights and the 870. I would say the 590 is more ergonomic. The slide release is behind the trigger which allows your middle finger to release(whereas the 870 has it in front of the trigger guard). The 590 also has the safety on the top. The 870 has it behind the trigger guard.

BTW combat sights sucks for skeet shooting.
