Mossberg MVP; Bolt-gun feeding from AR-15 Mags

So, i was trawling the internet this evening and came across this:

The Mossberg MVP

The Mossberg MVP is built upon the (apparently) highly successful 4x4 action, and promises MOA accuracy out of the box. It also feeds from the readily available, and reasonably inexpensive AR15 Magazines.

My question here is, has anyone heard anything about these guns? Specifically our sponsors/distributors? Any idea if/when these will be making their way up north?

Given the track record of these Mossberg and the really short internal length of the AR mags, I personally wouldn't bother.

I am looking into making bottom metal to use AI 223 mags in Savage rifles. That makes a whole lot more sense to me.
