Mossberg MVP Varmint 7.62x51

Unless set on the 24" fluted barrel I'd recommend the MVP LC, the varmint has a plastic magwell insert that causes some feeding issues with various mags. I have the 5.56 varmint and changed it over to a Mdt chassis and mags fit way better, although haven't made it to the range to test function.
I have the MVP Varmint as well and shoots great for a medium/low cost rifle but don't care too much for the sloppy fit in the plastic magwell either. I've heard that there are after market fixes for this but have yet to get a response from Mossburg or any of the Canadian dealers. I quite like the stock for prone shooting.
Has anyone heard of or know of a fix ( or where) for the poor magwell?
I guess a work-around is better than the problem. I don't know why they just don't come out with a fix for it from Mossberg? The rifle itself shoots amazingly well with my homeloads. If it didn't shoot so well I would have dumped it by now.

Unfortunately the aluminum mag well from Tromix isn’t available in Canada. Have tried and they won’t ship it. There is also a fairly easy fix with leaving the magazine a little on the sloppy side. Using a die grinder or a Dremel, change the feeding ramp surface by machining out a bit more of a degree to accomadate the mag in the backward position. Remove only a little bit of material at a time. Reassemble check feed, then take it back apart and remove more if needed. Mine now works like a charm.
