Mossberg Over and Under

On their website - "Reserve Series" Silver & Onyx ... not mentioned "where" they're made, but "Old World Crafstmanship" is one of the by-lines.
At the price, best guess might be Turkey.

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing these come on the market. If they're made in USA then it's a great deal. If they're made in Turkey or elsewhere, it's probably best to compare them to Stoegers but I believe the Stoegers have a few more features (ie ported barrels) than the Mossberg.

Mossberg U/O shotguns are made by Khan in Turkey. A quick google of Khan guns (Century Arms in the U.S.) will reveal a spotty history of quality control. There appears to be a way of denting the action if the gun is not closed correctly. While Turkish guns have progressed by leaps and bounds, this one may not have matured yet. If you find one, examine it carefully before purchase.

I have been watching the reports flow in over at www.shotgunworld.com .

Some positive some negative.

Sharptail is right.

Shotguns made by KHAN in Turkey don't have the best reputation.

I never owned one but I keep reading the same things about them in various forums.

It seems that it is a hit or miss with their firearms. While styling and finish may seem ok, the quality control seems to be lacking. One gun might be good the other a lemon...
