Mossberg Patrol 556 300blk barrel options?

I have a Mossberg Patrol in 556cal.

Considering a 300blk setup.
What barrel choices do I have with the Mossberg?
Is the barrel shank/thread proprietary or the same as a Savage or other rifle?
Aftermarket barrels?

Still interested in this ....

I like the Patrol rifle...and have another in 556.
I know they make the Patrol in 300blk?

I would def trade for one.....but figured a barrel swap would be a good go as it would be easy to do, I could pick the twist and length....sadly can't shoot supressed anyway so would be for full speed loads.....and I could likely sell my oem 556 barrel to offset the cost.


Any feedback on what barrel shank size/thread the Mossberg Patrols use?
Has anyone rebarreld one of the the Patrols yet?

I am NOT interested in a restricted 300blk anything. I want to use the 300 for plinking/hunting etc.
