Second Mossberg 590A1 with the silver coating that normal factory loads stick in the chamber. I have owned many Mossbergs over the years and no problem. What has happened to Mossberg and where do I send them to get repaired. Any info or help appreciated. UPDATE chamber a round trigger won't work lift the bolt. and put back down fires fine weird any ideas

I think Wolverine does warranty on mossburg
A lot of the marine coated shotguns had issues with being stiff and sticky due to the coating. You might have to give your chamber a clean/polish it some of the coating got in there

Is the patriot new ?
Have youbtried different ammo ?
Is the bolt all the way forward and handle down ?

Sounds out of battery

Having never handled one of these rifles, I'm just speculating here. Have you made any adjustments to the trigger adjustment screws? It might be backed off to far ( towards the lightest pull weight). Are there any threads of the screw exposed ? Try screwing the pull weight adjustment in (clockwise )a turn or more and any over travel screws out a turn to see if that fixes the problem. Also, have you ever completely removed the trigger group or pull weight adjustment screw ?

Thank You all for the help.I traded for it .I did tighten the trigger and seems to work fine. To the range tomorrow. I ll let you know tomorrow

Thank you for all the replies I went blind in my right eye so was off for a while but now I'm back trigger is fixed but ejector doesn't throw the brass far unless you pull the bolt back quickly strange

Glad to hear that you're back in business. What did you figure out was causing the trigger issues? As for the new ejection issue, I'm willing to be it's one of two things. You'll probably need to remove the ejector pin & spring. There's either an accumulation of crud down in the hole or a damaged spring. You might get lucky and be able to free it up without disassembling anything. Submerse/soak the bolt head in some type of solvent (acetone, varsol, naptha ect) swish it around and work the ejector back and forth. Blow out the solvent and then apply some light oil to the ejector plunger. Try that first. If not you'll have to drift out the ejector retaining pin with a small punch, remove the ejector & spring. Use caution not to lose anything into low earth orbit as theres a spring& small parts with minds of their own involved.
