Mossberg question

My buddy says he has a Mossberg 550 pump with an extra rifle barrel for sale. It's camo. He's asking $450. Is this a fair price? I couldn't find much on 550 online.

It is likely a model 500. That price is close to retail.

Unless its in new condition thats a tad bit much. My 500 in wood with one barrel cost me 319+tax. Extra barrels are around 100-150$.
