Guess we'll call this an "opinion" thread, but anybody here own one of these..and...are still glad they bought one after the first outing? Maybe it's my relatively new affection for Mossberg shotguns, but with a proper buttstock, I could see this being a fun gun. Maybe less fun with the cost of .410 ammo being what it is. lol IraqVeteran on YouTube did a review of this gun, I think in his case, a defensive gun his wife can manage. I do like the parkerized finish and small size. I've only ever owned one 410 (a Cooey 84) and even with the proper-length barrel, hitting anything moving was a tall order. At least for me. I've never had much trouble scoring decently shooting trap (19/25 or better with a 12 or 20) but the times I took that 410 out, you'd think I was shooting blank loads. lol

Thoughts on the gun?

I think it serves its purpose well and that is close range home defense. It offers a potent lil package with alot less recoil than a 12ga. For those who laugh at a 410 slug ive never found anyone willing to stand 100 yards away and try to catch one. Short barreled shotguns fall into a special category in the states and these types are exempt from the $200 tax. I dont own a shockwave 410 but have used 410 enough on game to know how effective it can be. Ive seen large body white tails drop to a single 410 slug. With todays marketing and special defense loadings and the rise of tss the 410 is better than ever
