does anyone have any experience with the Mossberg " silver reserve" seris over and under shotgun ? I'm thinking of getting one but don't know much about this new model ...thanks Joe

The ones that I have seen/held were on the heavy side. We had one (20GA)for our 2007 Ruffed Grouse Society Banquet, last spring. It weighed over 7 lbs. I found it to swing like a 2X4 IMHO.

If these are the same as the ones made by turkeys, forget it! We've had them come back into the shop for repair/replace firing pins. AVOID like bubonic plague!

i was wondering that myself milarm in edmonton is carrying them and they have a nice apearance, and a good price, but yes they are made in Turkey and one of the ones i looked at came out of the box with damage to the barrel me thinks soft ####ty medal, i am going with bakal instead as a budjet beginer O/U

i,ve got one its had about 8000 rds through it had one broken firing pin on a dry fire. It,s not a browning but it's 1/5 the price and its a good place to start.I,ve tried the stooger same price range but preferred the mossberg. the

The only one that I have seen was a 28 gauge at a gunshow last fall. The shotgun did not look bad but was a little on the heavy side for my taste in a 28 gauge.
