mossberg slug guns

was going to get a new autoloader but then i got to thinking i DO have this 12ga mossberg 535 kickin' around, and i could just throw a cantalever slug barrel on it instead of buying a whole new gun.

does anyone run mossberg slug guns? how are they for accuracy? any opinions? thx

good choice i shot a 535 three and a half inch turkey gun and got a rifle slug barrel for it this year and just lve it i spent a lot of money testing slugs and the very best in this gun was the brenneke rottweil for rifle barrels thy are a fair bit of money but thy sure did like this gun and boy do thy ever hit hard .you can not go wrong with this combo good luck DUTCH
 
I got a Mossberg 500 with a cantilever slug barrel and love it. I got my Moose and an 8 point buck with it this year.

I'm sure you will like the performance of your 535 with a cantilever slug barrel as well
 
I find that the accuracy of the rifled barrel for my 12g mossberg is excellent. Can do ~2-3" groups at 100m usually, which is more than adequate for hunting situations, in my opinion.
 
Have the Ulti-Mag 835 with cantilever barrel, 4x fixed scope. Shooting 3 inch Winchester BRI's 2.5 -3 inch groups at 100 yards.
Plus the barrells are not too expensive.
I'd recommend it.
