Been fart'in'bout with a few of my rimfires and notice this old
Mossberg Model 350K barrel stamping raised a question for me.

It is tagged 22-SHV-L-L.R

So it looks gooder to shoot shorts, long and long rifle.
But what does the HV after the S refer to?

Never seen this SHV stamp before.

Short-High Velocity-Long-Long Rifle? Just a guess as it is an older firearm.

I had a Mossberg 350K in the '50s. It shot regular shorts through long rifle reliably.

They have a unique three position adjuster on the mag that allows it to accept all length of 22 rim fire rounds.

Let us know how it shoots.

Dint know they made a HV short.
All in the way it's laid out.
