Mossberg tactical .22 and a single point sling/sling ring?

I like the promag sling and sling ring system. So how do I make a sling ring work with our mossbergs? Other than JB wield! Lol

BTW, tried the Lucid HD7 and loved it.
Wish it had reset zero turrets and had green and red optics but beggers can't be choosers!!!!:)

It's a MIDWEST INDUSTRIES AR-15 END PLATE SLING ADAPTER, found it on Brownells website. Looks like it clamps onto the buffer tube, you may have to do some filing to make it work properly.
 
The ASAP relies on the index key to lock it into an upright position, which is then held into place by the locking ring on the threaded portion of a actual AR extension tube. From the looks of the of the Mossberg extension tube, it is held in by two screws on either side of the housing it plugs into and not threaded.

I would need pics to be able to get a better idea on how the mossberg tube attaches to the rifle in order to help provide better suggestions.
