Mossberg warranty question

Just took delivery on a new mossy pump. It seems in perfect order but for one little issue. The front bead is soldered on slightly crooked.

What are your experiences with mossberg in terms of warranty ? As I bought through the mail it is a pain in the butt to ship it so I was hoping that they might be kind enough to ship out a new barrel. ( wishful thinking )

Or do I just use the gun after all it is a very minor issue and I really like the gun overall.
 
are you sure the front bead is soldered on? the bead on my Mossy 500 is screwed in, it has a little brass nut under the bead and you just unscrew it from the barrel.
mine isnt a ribbed barrel though so if yours is it may be different.... usually the beads are just screw-in though.
 
Expect very little support from Mossberg USA they will not ship any parts over the boarder. I have a 835 and I can't get even get a replacement FO sights or fibers to fix a broken one they only ship with USA.

Great shotgun and solid performer but I suspect all warranty stuff will have to go through your dealer. Good luck.

I got them to send me 2 spare forearm retainers for my 935 incase they break.
