Just wondering if anyone knows how durable this finish is on rifles... Specifically, is this an anti-rust finish? Does this finish "peel off" over time? Is there a "life expectency of this finish? Do you own a rifle with this finish and do you like it? Educate me please!

Thanks!

You'll have to be a bit more specific.
How is this applied? I've seen mossy Oak and other trademarked patterns applied by plastic mac-tac like overlays. I sure would not want that crap on a rifle. However, it's the pattern that is patented, not the method it's applied to the product.
If applied with a paint like finish, it should be quite durable.

Lots of the guys here have painted their own rifles, and the results are astounding. Do a search.

X2, Need more info...

I have a Remington SPS stainless with the mossy-oak synthetic stock, haven't had any issues yet, but if I do get rust on my plastic stock, I still don't think I'll blame the camo...

I have a mossberg 500 in factory applied mossy oak camo for 2 years now without any problems... been hunted in the bush, rain and snow.
NO PROBLEMS at all with any of the finish on the stock, reciever or any of the barrels. To be honest the finish is even more durable then I thought it would be when I purchased the gun.
