Most accurate

What type of air rifle are you considering? Springer, PCP, Single stroke pnumatic? and what power level and cal?
 
Cal dosnt matter, type dosnt matter ,or fps dosnt matter. I will buy anything that is accurate. I havent had any exprience with pellet guns and the little I have had with these guns havent been that good.
We just had a new son and I dont want him to get discouraged when he cant hit anything. So any addvise would be greatly appreciated .
Around the 1 k mark, a little over would be just fine too . Thanks
 
If you have a young son you might consider a IZH-61. It will costs you a lot less than a grand but it's great for kids since it's light, it's adjustable for LOP, and it's easy to #### (side-spring). You can also count on it being very accurate and having a great trigger. Mounting a scope is a bit of a pain since it has a short rail, but if you have a good mount it works fine. Oh yes, it's also a multi-shot (5 shot clips) so it's fun.

Just get a Weihrauch and you dont need a thousand dollers,unless you want a nice scope on it. very accurate

agreed, the hw100 is probably the most accurate rifle for under 1k


be warned, you will have to f34k around with a hand pump or scuba tank if you want to go down the pcp road.
 
I say save the cash and just get him a gamo big cat for about 145$, definitely enough power and Gamo has good reliability and quality. I found it to be the best bang for the buck.
 
Sounds like you still have a few years before your son will be shooting.
Do you want a PAL gun or non-PAL?
Heavy or Light?
Easy to #### and Shoot might be something to consider as well....
I'd be stoked to start shooting a Weihrauch HW30 if I was a kid.
