Most consistent 105 gr plus 6mm bullet?

sort your bullets base to ogive, then swap over to a 450 primer. not the first time I've seen this or dealt with this.
 
Here is a report received last year:

Sunday June 30th Lake of the Woods Gun Club in Kenora held our annual 500 meter bench rest match. Burt Bastien shot this .984" five shot group on his first target in the morning. Burt was shooting a factory Cooper Montana Varminter M22 in 6br. Ammo was Lapua cases, Federal 205 primers, Varget, Lapua 105 grain Scenar. Burt's score aggregate was 237/250 for second place in score. Burt's group aggregate was 2.6264" for 1st place.
Lapua bullets are uniform.

Lapua bullets measure the most consistent on the planet of any manufacture, ever

searches reveal folks in the good old USA and Britain measuring them

reason some USA teams don’t use them is that they are not made in the USA

try them you might be surprised. use a 236 bore 6mm barrel for best performance on these projectiles

Update: In a 6br with 8 twist 4 groove Krieger, switched to CCI 450 primer, 105 VLD. All testing done at 200 meters. Tested Varget with bullet seated on a hard jam and Hodgdon's book max was the best. Then seated the bullet into the case by .003" and shot groups. .009" off hard jam was the best. Confirmed with 5 shot group at 200. 6ppc guys would get this. Fire a shot and make a hole on paper. Fire a second shot and the hole gets darker, fire a 3rd shot and the hole gets darker. Your heart is racing. Fire the 4th shot and it leaks out the side. Either I mishandled the gun or missed a flag. Fire the 5th shot and the hole gets darker. Measure the group and 4 shots into .373" and my mistake blows it out to .708" with one bullet hole of vertical. Hi 2824, low 2812, average 2815, ES 12, SD 5. Good enough. The 105 VLD tunes like a 6ppc for me. I like it.
