Mount for Millet DMS

OK, so I've got a Millet DMS coming for my Norinco MKnockoff, so what are people using to mount the damned things? I know that you can get some lovely one piece QD mounts with enough forward extension, but most of them cost more than the scope (ADM comes to mind) or are not allowed to leave the US (Larue). So what's the hot setup for the welfare Black rifle set??
 
The 30mm Armalite scope mount/ring combination works out very well and is reasonably priced. Fabsports also sells a 0.5" riser with extention ($35.95) that you can use with regular medium height 30mm rings of your choice. Just google "Fabsports" for their website. They're excellent to deal with. They have rings as well and are located in Quebec. Good luck :)

I just ordered one with the one piece Armalite mount. I can post back on how it works if you'd like.
 
I just looked at the Armalite mount, looks perfect for my use. Thanks for the tip, I'll get on to Wolverine tomorrow. Davy if you get yours into use before I get mine, I'd love to hear your opinion.
 
Hi Ian. P&D is pretty quick so you may have gotten your gear by now but if not....I like the mount, seems well made and locks in nice and solid on the rail. Only knock is that I find it low. Basically it's on the same plane as the iron sights. The dot on the scope co-witnesses almost perfectly with the front sight. I'm going to be looking for a riser.

I haven't had a chance to get out with it yet so hopefully it performs as well as it looks :D
