Mount hight

Hello all, going to put a 40mm scope on a tikka t3x. What hight suggests for optiloc rings?

I have medium height rings on mine tallieys are good.

What scope are you mounting? I've mounted 40mm Leupold in Talley low's no problem

Leopold 3.5x10x40. I want to go as low as possible, I have to order everything online since there isn't a store here that is reasonably priced for anything.

Talley low or extra low. Lows will definitely do the job, but may not be the absolute lowest.
