I'm putting a Burris XTS-135 on my Marlin 1895XLR when I go pick it up tomorrow, but been doing some reading about how rings generally don't have the best fit without lapping/reaming. And I'm thinking, with the recoil levels that this rifle can produce once I start handloading, maybe I should pay to get the ring professionally done?
