?.Mount scope on full size or chopped M14s

Howdy all.I'm in a bit of a quandary on which of my M14s to put my 3200 10 power scope. I have a smith mount,but I'm not sure whether to mount it on my full length rifle or my chopped one. Does anyone have any comments.Thanks

I know for me I have the Smith mount on my full length M-14a and a Springfield scout mount along with a Burris scout scope on my chopped M-14a.
I quite like these configurations. I feel that I have a lot of situations covered, pun intended….

both my m14 rifles will use the same type of scope , 6 - 18 x42 , but i will also have the option on my shorty to switch from the traditional scope to an eotech as the rifle has a custom, continuous rail from the rear sight pocket to the oprod guide
shot a bear at 175 yards with my shorty and the above scope...... 1 shot, 1 kill.....

I'm running mine M-14 full length with a Falcon Menace 4-14 scope and really like the set up...

M14 shorty & full length

Heya,

For the M14s.. I have 2x ARMS 18s and my shorty has a scount mount also... then I can mount whatever I feel like on it.

I have a Bushy 3200 10x40 that will go onto the longer barrel and dont know yet about the shorty...

Ill try to get some pics...

Anyone else can you post pics of your 305s???? it helps...
