And it is perfect. As with everything I touch I modified it a bit to mount a bit further back over the stock location. It sits nice and tight with a nice trigger feel now. I actually like it more then the FAB PG because its a bit bigger all around and fits my medium-large hands better. One could mount it closer by removing the PG retaining plate but I didin't want to remove the plate and I wanted to mount the PG a bit further away from trigger. It sits about 3/8" further back then stock.

Did some gun figher drills and fun snap shooting this weekend with it and I'm very happy with the setup. IMHO better then the FAB grip and deffinately better then the stock grip. Plus it kinda has a PE90 look to it :p .

I made 2 small slits in the grip to fit over the the collar. The slits are what allows the collar to hold the PG in place. I used a FAB PG length bolt. It would seem that the FAB should be more comfortable but unless you have small hands I think you will find the SAW one better.

my only beef with FAB grip is they made the screw to short so they could have a compartment inside it cos the average allen wrench just bearly reached .

Yes but you have a disease. BTW I have never had a problem with the allen key, but weaker men might .

i know i got a disease , on impluse i bot a FAB galil stock , i wasnt even looking for one , damn , these keys are way too easy to press . :D:D

so no money left to buy an extra long allen wrench . :D

mind your own business dad .:D just two pal talking here .
Did you finish your homework yet, son?

I'm going to have to pick up another VZ58 or CZ858. I have an 858 that I refused to mod as it looks so perfect with the real wood furniture. The only thing I'll change on that is that it will get a parkerizing job sooner or later.
