Hey gang,

Prolly answered a million times on here, but I had a look at the FAQ, and didn't see it specifically, so...

I now own an M305 with a nice Italian wood stock. I'd like to add a bipod, but don't want to buy another stock, and don't want to do any drilling/modding to this one.

Is there a bipod mount I can add that:

A) uses the existing two sling mount screw holes without drilling/tapping them?

B) has a sling mount built-in?

If possible, please provide part number, and easiest/most readily available place to buy in Canada-- I'm in Winnipeg.

Thanks

I just added a sling swivel stud to mine. It already had a hole drilled for one in the fiberglass USGI stock it came in. Had to dremel the end of it until it didn't contact the gas system anymore but it's rock solid. I think Sadlak makes a bipod mount that fits the exsisting swivel holes though.

That thread almost answers my main questions: do the holes/screws line up with my existing sling holes exactly, and do I need to drill/tap at all?
